Title Website Research

During this time together, my group and I found two websites that would be able to help us with our title design. The first website we found was www.artofthetitle.com. My group and I think that this is the website that will help us the most. This website gives very detailed descriptions of what it provides. Some things this website provides is the year the movie was made, name of the movie,  and whether it is an opening title sequence or a summary of the movie. Since my group and I are mainly focused on the title sequence, it is very helpful that this website provides whether it’s an opening sequence or a summary of the entire movie. When first entering the website it was a little complicated, my group and I were surely stumped at some point. To find everything you need, you will first need to click on title sequences at the top left hand side of the page. After clicking that, you will click all titles where every movie they have will be displayed for you. This is where you will see everything explained before, the year the movie was made, name of the movie,  and whether it is an opening title sequence or a summary of the movie. This website has a lot of information my group and I will be using. The second website my group and I found was www.watchthetitles.com. This will reign as our second favorite for our research. 2 This website is very eye-catching which is what made us look at it more closely rather than leaving it alone. When you first open the website there are many pictures and videos going on. When you scroll down there are tabs that can be opened where it tells you what is included in these tabs or files. There is also a tab at the top of the screen labeled “Title Sequences” with the same files included if you were to scroll down on the screen. My group and I clicked on the Title Sequence tab which took us to a screen with a variety of movies in different genres. When first glancing at this screen, you are able to tell that this website does not include the year of the movie and we already know that all of these examples are title sequences based off of the tab we selected. Before throwing out the website all together, my group and I decided that we should watch one of the sequences. Low and behold, the movie years were included once clicked on the movie which is what made us choose this website as a backup. We are very excited to use these two websites to help us with our final task.

   Hi again! We're back for another year in A level Media! My name is Jordyn Jackson and I attend Fort Lauderdale High School where I take AICE Media Studies. Let's Go Again

 Here we are again. Another day of filming amongst us. Today my group and I filmed another part of our final project. We filmed at Nicole's house again since that's where we decided we would be filming mostly all of the film. When we were all at Nicole's we sat and discussed which scenes we filmed. I had brought my duffel bag so we decided to film some of the park scenes that we could. Deciding this, we used Pedro's car to drive to a large grassy area near Nicole's house. I wouldn't consider it a park since there were not play equipment, but there was enough space to do what we had to do. We pulled up to the park and looked over the script to see what we were doing. The first thing I did was hop out the car and go over what everyone was supposed to do. There is a scene where I am supposed to get a call from an unknown number and since we were recording on Nicole's phone, Pedro called me from *67 so the call would come up from unknown. A Cancellation!

      It's a very upsetting time. On Sunday, my group and I had a plan to film the first section of our final film. A little issue we had was that Damaine had some unexpected plans come up. Damaine was unable to film with us because he had a last minute dinner come up that it was crucial for him to attend. He told us this last minute which was not great for us but it was fine. The rest of my group mates and I just had to make a change of plans which was fine. The plans we made were that we would all leave school together on the upcoming Thursday that was a half day and all go to Pedro's house. We would all get something to eat after school and head to Pedros house where we would eat and film after. My group and I also planned to hopefully film everything in one day.
