Start of Production

It's finally here! My team and I have finally started filming our new movie. The day before, Nicole texted in our group chat to make sure that we are still good for filming the next day. I was completely unaware that we were supposed to be filming so I was caught a little off guard. I told them I forgot and asked my mom if she could take me since I still do not have a car. She said she could take me so I informed my group that I would be able to make it. Nicole threw around times that we could come over since we would be filming at her house, we all agreed that 12 would be a fine time. I arrived to Nicole's house after Pedro, we sat and talked a little before we actually started filming. We discussed where we would film each scene, how we would film it, and which phone we would film it on. We decided that since the beginning scenes were taken at night that we would film everything other than that. This brought us to start filming outside in the backyard, Pedro brought a chair and then we were trying to figure out the best lighting situation. We though that one way would be good because the sun was facing that way but when we looked in the other direction of Nicole we realized that the lighting was very dark and bad. Pedro suggest moving the chair, which we did and realized it was much better lighting. Once we found the right seating and lighting the pool guy came to clean and so there was no noise in the background we decided to move filming inside. There wasn't much that we could do inside the house so we just waited for the pool cleaner to finish which took about 15 mins. After we went back outside we discussed how we should film because when I did the storyboard I was thinking about how it would look for an actual movie point of view but we did not have another person to help us film. Pedro suggested that we just film my scenes straight through and Nicole would give me my lines in between and we could cut it out. There is a scene  in our film where Nicole and Pedro are supposed to "beat me up". After we filmed the "fight" scene Nicole took me to her room so she could do my makeup. She used her make up to create a black eye so we could film a scene that was needed separately. While filming this scene, I realized that I would need the black eye for the other half of my scenes that were filmed with me being "tied" up. This meant that we had to go back and redo the scenes after the "fight" scene. Once my scenes were finished, I filmed Nicole and Pedro's scenes straight through as we did mine. Once we finished their scenes, Pedro had to leave so he could be somewhere by a certain time so we were unable to finish a lot of our film.
