  Our product represents social groups by bringing awareness to what drugs can do to a person and how  things can come back around to hurt you in the long run. Our project engages audiences with the plot and how we filmed said project. There are many elements that bring together a sense of branding. In our production process we used a couple of different branding techniques such as brand name, brand messaging, brand imagery, brand experience, and brand personality. When thinking of our brand name we were also thinking about the name of our film and we were very stumped on this for a long time. We ended up coming with the name June Bug because that’s the nickname of the main character. This essentially became the entire brand since it revolved so much around the film.  In class, we finished editing our project. We had Pedro bring in his computer again since Nicole's and I don't have working ones. Since we didn't do the title sequence last class we had to do it this time. We didn't fully remember how it should be done so we had to look at our film we did last year and what notes Nicole and I took in the beginning of the year. We struggled trying to make the title sequence because we kept going back and forth between fonts and how we wanted everything to look. It wasn't our best moment. When we can't agree on some things it gets pretty ugly. Once we got that finished with Nicole sent the other half of the film to Pedro. We knew we needed to send it to his email this time since sending it through texts didn't work last time. He got all of the scenes and we did the same thing as last time.  As you know, we finished filming our project. Nicole and I can't bring our computers to school anymore which  made things a little complicated. Nicole's computer broke so she got a desktop and my computer doesn't work unless it is plugged in. Pedro has a computer that actually works so we will be using his. We are using iMovie and CapCut to edit our movie. We used the same platforms last year as well. Damaine used iMovie since he was basically an expert n editing, and Nicole and I used CapCut for our music video last year since iMovie wasn't cooperating with us. None of us are really experts in editing but we know the basics for the most part. Pedro has iMovie on this computer since he has a Mac and I have CapCut on my phone just in case something won't work on iMovie.  In the previous blog we talked about how we watched our film and needed to film again. When we talked we also decided on the date we wanted to refilm everything. We decided to film yesterday since we were all free and our schedules are usually really busy, well Nicole and I. We filmed after school at Nicole's house so I drove with her and Pedro followed behind us. When we got to Nicole's house we ate some snacks since we were hungry and went over what we planned on doing. What we realized was that we didn't like a lot of the park scenes. A lot of them had bad lighting, shaky camera shots, and the audio would cut in and out. The park scenes were usually the ones we rushed because it was so hot outside but we took our time since we needed to perfect it. Many things we had to keep reshooting because no one could stay serious. Others were because we couldn’t remember lines, and other were because of lighting or audio issues.  We have finally finished filming. You know what that means. Revision and editing time. After we finished filming, a couple days after we talked about wanting to see it all together. Since Nicole had all of the shots in her phone she smashed them all together. We decided it would be best to not edit anything so we could see it all together and what scenes we needed to refilm. So with what we talked about Nicole edited the scenes where we shot the entire scene at once. To explain, when we had to go bac and forth when we were in Nicole's backyard, instead of going back and forth Pedro suggested just filming all of my scenes in one and all of their scenes in another. With that, Nicole only edited those parts and put them together to make the rough draft of the film. Since we decided this over the weekend we had to wait to see Nicole in school rather than her just sending it to us in our group chat.  Here it is. The finale we have all been waiting for. My group and I have been so excited to finish this film and couldn't be prouder. For this day, we had to film the last scene of the entire film. This scene was supposed to take place at night. We showed up to Nicole's house sometime in the evening so we didn't waste the day just sitting at her house. When we arrived to her house we talked for a little and her mom offered us food. We sat down and ate and just talked about life for the most part rather than the movie. After we finished eating we helped her mom clean up and talked some more. Once we finished washing dishes, we looked up what scenes we needed to do and what our lines would be.  The filming never stops. We are at it again at Nicole's house to film another scene in our film. Before this day, we did not communicate before hand about what we would film. The only thing we talk about was the time we would meet at Nicole's house. Since the films we needed were during the day and we were all busy in the morning and most of the afternoon we didn't have much time to film. Once we go to Nicole's house we basically got straight to business and talked about what scenes we would be filming. We decided to film the car scenes with Pedro and Nicole before it got too dark outside. Since the time jumped in November, it gets dark pretty early so we had to rush and film. The scenes we wanted to do were pretty long so we had to go over the lines a couple times. I was not in this scene so I did my best to help film from the back of Pedro's mini coop and had the lines opened up on my phone.  Today we filmed again! Since we didn't film last time we planned on having another day to film. We planned to meet closer to the evening so we could shoot the nighttime scene we had planned. Pedro and I met up at Nicole's house around 5 pm. Before it got dark, we filmed another scene we needed in the park. Pedro was supposed to be a mugger so Nicole did his makeup to make him look dirty. After, Pedro drove us to the park, we went over the lines of what we would say. Pedro had to go over his lines a couple times because he couldn't remember a lot of them. We had to reshoot the scene a couple times because both of us kept messing up. Nicole also kept laughing while she was recording so we would have to stop and start again. Once we had the scenes we needed, Pedro drove us back to Nicole's house.  Here we are again. Another day of filming amongst us. Today my group and I filmed another part of our final project. We filmed at Nicole's house again since that's where we decided we would be filming mostly all of the film. When we were all at Nicole's we sat and discussed which scenes we filmed. I had brought my duffel bag so we decided to film some of the park scenes that we could. Deciding this, we used Pedro's car to drive to a large grassy area near Nicole's house. I wouldn't consider it a park since there were not play equipment, but there was enough space to do what we had to do. We pulled up to the park and looked over the script to see what we were doing. The first thing I did was hop out the car and go over what everyone was supposed to do. There is a scene where I am supposed to get a call from an unknown number and since we were recording on Nicole's phone, Pedro called me from *67 so the call would come up from unknown. As seen in the last blog, you know that my team and I were unable to film. We were unable to film because Pedro didn't feel well so we just cancelled the entire day. Since we cancelled everything there wasn't much for us to do so we waiting until we got back to school. Today we were able to meet back up in class to talk about what we needed to do. In class we talked about why we cancelled since Pedro didn't tell me why and what we did during that day. Since we have a long period we took a break in between to do other things. Once we realized the time, we decided to talk about the upcoming plans for our film. The part that takes us the most to come up with is the date. Since Nicole and I have jobs we have to coordinate our schedule, especially our weekend schedule since we are usually jam-packed. I don't know much about Pedro's schedule since we don't talk much outside of school. We know for sure Pedro doesn't have a job so he shouldn't have a problem wit...

 Unfortunately, we were unable to film. My team and I made plans to film some more of our film and we were unable to go through with it. Pedro has recently started a new medication and he wasn't taking well to it. He did not tell the group-chat, he only told Nicole and she texted in the group-chat asking if we could reschedule. To this Pedro agreed and I did as well because I was not up to filming either. When I found out the reason I did not question Pedro as to why he did not just say he was feeling good and I just let it be. I found it weird that he wouldn't just tell us both that he wasn't feeling well but it doesn't matter to me, I was just happy to not have to get out of bed so early. I would have had to get up early because Nicole was having work done in her backyard so we wouldn't be able to film for the time we needed.  It's finally here! My team and I have finally started filming our new movie. The day before, Nicole texted in our group chat to make sure that we are still good for filming the next day. I was completely unaware that we were supposed to be filming so I was caught a little off guard. I told them I forgot and asked my mom if she could take me since I still do not have a car. She said she could take me so I informed my group that I would be able to make it. Nicole threw around times that we could come over since we would be filming at her house, we all agreed that 12 would be a fine time. I arrived to Nicole's house after Pedro, we sat and talked a little before we actually started filming. We discussed where we would film each scene, how we would film it, and which phone we would film it on.  When talking with my group about what days we would be filming, we decided that this past weekend would be the best time. We set the time of when we would meet at Nicole's house and made sure it was good with everyone in the group. Unfortunately, at the last minute, we were unable to follow through with our plans. Pedro did not feel well, so he informed us and we all agreed that we wouldn't film. When we met up at school we decided what day we would film where it was good for everyone. We decided that this coming up Wednesday, the 8th,  would be the best day for all of us to film again. During class we went over our storyboard and what scenes we would shoot since we didn't have much time to film. We also decided what we would wear since this is a movie and we have to wear these pieces of clothing over multiple days.    Location - After some thorough thinking we decided to record our short movie in our group members house Nicole. Before choosing we had to keep in mind a couple of factors, firstly the story being told cant be just in any random scenario and after visiting it one time we decided Nicole's house has a good environment and street structure to carry out our production. Participants - When I began to write out our participants I solely though of our acting cast, but my group-mate Pedro said that we also had to think about the people helping in all aspects of our short movie, and after thinking about it he was completely right, so here is our full list: Pedro, Jordyn, Nicole, Nicole's mom, Nicole's Policia, and Felipe.
